Bamike Ogunrinu,a first generation Nigerian American, never saw herself pursuing a career in beauty, when at the time, she was pursuing a career in Medicine. Bamike's passion was ignited the first time she put a brush on a fellow model's face and saw, in that moment, their confidence overflowing. 



Bamike's love of STEM invigorated her pivot to beauty and SFX.  Bamike's ability to intersect the world of makeup and science, constantly helps with her thinking outside the box. It also led to her working with different brands in product development, which she hopes to do more of in the future, as she continues working as a makeup artist.


Working in cosmetic retail for over 10 years, in both consumer and pro spaces, Bamike has gained experience and knowledge of a multitude of brands and a deep understanding of ingredients. This understanding makes her a powerful asset in the world of product development, and on set working with talent with a global range of skin tones and concerns.


Bamike is always striving to improve her skill as an artist through education, practice, and hard work, she is always open to assisting.


She is currently based in New York and willing to travel.


She is currently working to one day join the IATSE local 798 film union as a makeup artist.


When she's not working you can find her traveling the world, reading a book, or more recently, watercolor painting.


Bamike continues to keep sanitation at the forefront of her application to keep her and her clients safe. She is fully vaccinated as of March 2021 and continues to be tested weekly.
