Hi, I'm a professional photographer. I have about 2 decades of experience. I made an account to browse to look for people who I feel I have the potential to upgrade my portfolio and hopefully make it to my gallery for display. I have been through many years of photography as well as videography. My work is true to reality meaning I do the absolute minimum amount of post processing whenever possible. I usually ask for a straight head shot, mid shot, and fully body at no wider than 50mm so I can get an accurate assessment of my model. All my clients look identical in my photos as they do in real life. The important things to focus on in the photo is to get or create lighting that is natural as possible as well as work with the subject and make them feel comfortable, confident, yet focused at the same time. I see too many heavily altered images and poor exposure, framing, as well as blurry pictures trying to be saved in photoshop. This is because 95 percent of shooters never went to school for it. They just picked up a camera, put it on auto, and snap as many pictures as their memory card allows and then say "I'll give you a cd with all the photos" hoping that quantity will overshadow the lack of quality. When a person sees themselves looking amazing despite the lack of alterations of special effects, they will learn to appreciate not just the artist's level of skill but also learn more about themselves as a person, model, and have a much higher confidence as well as love for oneself when they look in the mirror. That is my primary goal when I take photos, to leave my client with a better perspective on reality and to develop a true sense of dignity for themselves and understand that any photographer can tell you that you are gorgeous, even promise to make you look beautiful but the reality is the best photographer is not the one that makes you look the way you want to look but rather make you feel the way you want to feel which is simply to feel pretty as all women should and deserve to feel. Men as well :) Anyways, I specialize in portraits and modeling but I do maybe a 15 or so weddings a year depending on my schedule and how much I travel around the states.
