I was once told by a prophet that, one day, tens of thousands of people will follow my voice! Years ago, I was selling magazines door to door in Jacksonville, FL and found myself at a man's house who would go on to change my entire sense of existence. I knocked, and when he invited me in I was shocked to learn he'd already known my name and went on to describe intimate details about an illness my mother was suffering from back home in St. Louis. Needless to say, his thorough knowledge of my life kept my attention as he went on to explain my life's purpose. The man stated "The devil has already given you a proposition of 5 years to serve but there is another option.... God's will." He continued by saying "Serve God for 5 years and don't look back and all your dreams will come true." He explained to me that no matter what decision I pick, and it is my choice what I teach, thousands of people will one day follow my words. When I arrived to this complete stranger's home, I had every intention of meeting my magazine subscription quota and going on my way. Upon leaving his house, I became a believer of the lord. Despite my new found belief, over the years, I've grown distant from my faith. However, through experience, I have become enlightened and my thought process has expanded. I began to wonder "Why would I teach the youth about the bible when there are so many people who already play that role?" So instead of following a monotonous trend set by many, I decided I would like to educate and create a trend on my own. A trend focused on harnessing one's inner love of art into a stream that will show people how to utilize their gifts and translate it into artistic expressions. My goal is to turn this concept from essence to reality. No one should be forced into a cycle of unhappiness solely because it is all they have been exposed to. Everyone has the right to pick their own destiny. Tens of thousands of people will hear my voice either through my designs, my clothing lines or through the lens of my camera. My objective is to create art and make the world a better place while doing so. I am Justin Myleke and this is Bombay-Boeski. Not just a brand, but a mission!
