The memory was vivid. I stood there silently staring at him. "I won't give you any directions. Just move" was his only statement. Gulp! So I moved. I sat down, I stood up, I hunched over, I straightened up.

The 4 hours went by in an instant. As I sat down on the colourful sofa which looked like a collage of many pieces of fabric, I lifted my eyes to the sample work they had on display. I felt intimidated and quickly looked away. 'They are so good' I thought.

As though on auto pilot, I walked into the assistant manager's office when ushered in. She was straight faced. "We are required to find 20 usable images from your test shoot for you to be successful". At her words, I looked away, hoping to get it over with. "We found 72". Blink. Blink. Wait what? "For someone who has never modelled before, imagine what you could produce after some experience". A grin tugged at the corners of my mouth, in my mind, a thought. 'I can do this'. I. Will. Do. This.

GOALS/EXPERIENCES
I am an aspiring commercial and editorial (but mainly commercial) model. In order to build my portfolio and gain experience, I have done a couple of unpaid shoots. My goal is to use the gifts God gave me to produce works or art that others will love whilst earning money from it.
