I was born and raised in the Kansas City Metro and love the midwest. I began looking into photography in middle school.During this time I had my first editorial publication. The photo was published in a Kansas City Star the article was about our science department’s work with the Kansas WaterShead Project. This bolstered my drive to become a better photographer. By that following spring and summer, I had completed several senior photo sessions, a wedding, and several family portrait sessions. However, this streak was not to last. Upon graduation, work and college became a priority and I fell away from it. After several years, I came back to photography. Now, I am ready to go public, and bring my art, and talent to the Kansas City market. I offer a creative style that juxtaposes both photojournalism and traditionalism to bring more creative portraits to the photos that I take. In a world where everyone has a digital SLR and can take snapshots, I enjoy creating something that I more than just a facebook photo, or a snapshot of the moment. I strive to truly capture a photograph. One that captures the soul, emotion, and personality of the moment.
