About Me

3rd generation Photographer Master of Boats & Things Russian, Eidetic, Fountain of Useless Information, One Man Library of Congress, Insufferable Impressionist. Born and raised in a portrait studio Parents Model/Muse from day one developing and printing at age 5 my parents and grand parents owned and operated portrait studios from the 1940s to the 1990s. Tired of Digital I find it lacking, have returned to the Old School technique using a Burke and James 4x5. I seek Artistry, not the instant gratification of flat Digital. I aspire to the Rodchenco style of photography of the Russian Constructivist era in the 1920s using light and angle to compose my images
