-----A bit about my style-----

I will try and be as straight forward as I can. I tend to gravitate towards darker more dramatic photos. I do not take pictures, I take photographs. The entire image has to tell a story. If the model in the photo is in a location, there must be a reason she is there. The image must make sense visually to me. If the subject is sitting on a log, why are they on the log? If the subject is in a swamp, why are they in the swamp? All of my images have to make me stop and think when I look at them. I strive to have some type of depth to the image. The world is full of pictures, there are plenty of pictures everywhere. I do not create pictures, I create photographs. I try not to use too much photoshop for inserting fake skies or fake backgrounds. I want to craft the environment around the model to fit the photo in my mind. I enjoying showing real locations instead of fake backgrounds. I want the people who view the photograph to want to step into that world knowing full well it is a real location and not a fake backdrop.

To repeat an answer to a question I was asked one time about what I want out of photography. I want to have my work survive longer than I do. I want my photographs to be more art than photo.
