Alexis Fera found her interest in hair when she was only sixteen years old, developing her interest in any way possible.

One of these ways was through the school board. She took the cosmetology class in the school, as well as going through a program that allowed her to get a credit by working right in a local salon. it was there that the foundation of her passion and her skills were created.
After highschool, Alexis moved to Peterborough, and attended Paul Asta's Hairstyling School. While studying there, she had the opportunity to meet with world-class stylists, as well as work with a variety of different colour lines.

In 2011 Alexis competed in the Toronto ABA Student competition. With only eight months of being in school, and training almost exclusively by herself, she managed to place 4th overall.
Alexis' competitive nature allowed her to thoroughly enjoy the thrill of competition, and hopes to compete again in the future

Alexis remains motivated in developing herself as a stylist by performing a variety of services in the salon she currently works. at, and attending a variety of shows and workshops. She hopes to eventually work in film, and become an educator in her field
