Marissa Buongiorno is brand new to the makeup artist world. Marissa is 20 years old and a recent graduate from Chic Studios School of Makeup, at the New York City location. While in the 5 week Master Makeup Artistry program, Marissa learned basic makeup applications from day to night, fashion and TV/video makeup, airbrush and sunless tanning, and basic hair styling for the makeup artist. Since graduation, Marissa has been a part of various charitable work for organizations such as Housing Works and Beauty Against Cancer. Marissa has experience with the most simplistic makeup all the way to extreme glam looks and drag makeup. Marissa is looking to build her portfolio and to gain further experience in the career through Model Mayhem. Marissa is currently working as a freelance makeup artist, but hopes to one day work on New York Fashion Week.
