Born and raised in Southern California, but now stationed on the East Coast, Heather Drake is a highly sought after photographer in the fashion, entertainment and music worlds. Drake’s innate photography skills and drive had her working for top modeling agencies after only 6 months as a professional photographer – an extremely
rare occurrence in the fashion industry. Since bursting onto the scene in 2005, Drake has built a diverse clientele which includes top modeling agencies: Ford Models, Elite, mc2, Fusion and Major Model Management; athletes:Chris Samuels (Washington Redskins LT/4 time pro bowler) Al Joyner (Olympic Gold Medalist) Vernon Davis (NFL) and Michael Walton (Olympic track & field star); and celebrities:T.I., J Holiday, Nick Cannon, Eva Pigford, Danity Kane members Aubrey and Dawn (R&B recording artists), Ginuwine,Ryan Leslie (singer and producer), and Black Buddafly (recording artists), to name a few. The sassy but humble photographer was also commissioned in April 2007 by Inside Edition to shoot a segment on D.C.’s 10 Hottest Single Men. Drake, who often works in heels and has an edgy, rock-n-roll aura
about her, also appeared in the nationally televised episode. But Inside Edition wasn’t the first time Drake has been on the other side of the camera. Ironically, she discovered her love for photography while modeling. She credits her modeling background, along with her background in the military, for her unparalleled insight and
focus when it comes to capturing great images. “Heather’s eye is usually right on target. Her work rarely needs retouching. And her visions aren’t just limited to when she has a camera. Even when she’s off of a set, she helps

agency. The young girl is now gracing several magazines such as Nylon and Modern Bride. Drake is constantly learning all she can to achieve her lofty goals. When she isn’t capturing hearts and inspiring minds taking cutting-edge photos, she’s fine-tuning her skills at the Art Institute of Washington. She also cherishes
