First off, the beauty community is growing larger and larger each day. I love being a part of something so large and in charge! I love making women feel beautiful, not just on the outside by the inside. My passion began when I was a young teen. My sister would alway tease me because I was always in the bathroom playing with makeup, hair, nails, you name it. I would even sleep in my makeup. which was a huge no no, especially now. I know that's very much frowned upon. But hey what can I say I was desperate and determined to mastering the art. I am self taught makeup artist but come January I'll be starting my journey at Aveda Institute of Portland to continue my passion for the ever evolving beauty industry. I have immersed myself in the culture so I can be the best I can be, whether it's learning different techniques on YouTube, or working with local photographers, and working with beauty influencers. Beauty and makeup is much much more to me than just makeup. It's about the connections and relationships you gain while pursuing your passion.
