I took up photography as a hobby when I retired at end of 2015. I wanted to take some good pictures for the fun of it. I am an amateur and I do not want to become a professional photographer. I just want to have some fun taking photos and doing some light post-processing. I like shooting faces and headshots. I pay the models to meet me in a public (safe) place before I schedule a shoot. I do not have a studio so I usually rent a day office in a professional office building by the hour for a shoot. I like to meet the model first because if I reserve the office I have to pay even if the model does not show. That hurts because I am on a fixed income.
I do not pay much but I give the model a copy of all the raw photos and if I post process I will give them a copy of the new photos. The model can do anything she wants with the pictures. I do not feel I am good enough for the model not to get paid something for her time.
The pictures I take are for me personally as I do not post or publish anywhere except on Model Mayhem and only the photos she OKs.
I got permission from the models to post these pictures before posting them.
