I like to test shoot people before I bring them on paid projects with me, mostly because I'm super loyal and like to personally vouch for a team I'm a part of.

For some reason I think it's a good idea to build a circle of friends with fellow photogs and models. I'll teach a camera and lighting to anyone that asks. I yell at other models I've worked with to show up and hold lighting for me. I use the word "rad" and "righteous" instead of "lovely" or "beautiful". I say stupid things like "portraits are like jazz" and "oh I read on the road too" even though I'm in my 30s. Oh god.

My wife gets mad because I ran out of places to put all my camera gear and nobody can beat me at Mario kart except this one dude that always talks about burning man.
