I've been shooting photography since I could hold a camera. I really got into it in high school, but quickly realized there wasn't much money (or steady income) in Fine Art Photography which was what was taught at high school. During college I ran the custom black and white darkroom for a pro lab. After that I managed to get a gig for a local music magazine out of Tampa, REAX. I quickly realized that being the last guy still shooting film was not the best idea. I tried to read books about digital and came to the conclusion that I needed to be professionally trained, plus I could use some help with studio lighting as well. Shortly, I started school at the International Academy of Design and Technology in Tampa. This really opened up my world and at the same time showed me how you can make money and have photography as a career. After I finished school at I.A.D.T, I worked as a freelance photographer and have been doing that ever since. I recently went back to school for graphic design since it goes hand and hand with photography and I would usually find more listings for Graphic Designer vs. Photographer. I am currently working on a website that is selling political wristbands and I could use a few models. I look forward to working with some Model Mayhem Models!
