Jacquelyn Vassar first fell in love with makeup when she viewed Micheal Jackson’s Thriller music video. Since then makeup has been her passion. She has been freelance Makeup Artist and Hairstylist with 10 years experience.

She trained at MakeUp Designory in Burbank, CA and attended Elite Progressives Schools of Cosmetology in Concord, CA to become a licensed cosmetologist. Jacquelyn worked at MAC Cosmetics as a freelance artist, and worked for OrIgins Skincare before she started working independently as a freelance MUA/Hairstylist.

Jacquelyn enjoys the opportunity to work on fashion shows, editorials, commercials, videos, weddings, and loves, loves SFX makeup. Furthering, her learning on a constant basis by updating he product knowledge, and perfecting her craft in eyelash extensions and airbrush makeup trends. For her staying current and relevant is important to express her quality of work ethic.

Jacquelyn recently had the pleasure of doing Hair/Makeup for Oakland Fashion Week in Oakland, CA, and produced a fashion show mixer for her Business Epic Events. She has worked on a creative editorial photoshoot with fashion stylist Taylor Morgan doing hair/makeup. Furthermore, she has worked behind the scenes as hairstylist for Reyna Rey style fashion show catchy Kharisma in Oakland, CA. She has worked her magic backstage creating dramatic character makeup at Makeup Designory and Elite Academy makeup competitions.

Jacquelyn loves the opportunity to learn and be creative in a team environment on fashion shows, editorial and commercial work.  She also enjoys glamming up wedding parties on their special day, proms, and for any special occasion.

Jacquelyn is interested in growing as an artist. She wants to expand her work as an artist doing editorial, fashion shows, SFX Makeup, weddings, and etc. She believes this is the perfect opportunity to expand her horizons.
