My makeup artistry journey started when my husband deployed four years ago. Being a 15-year stage performer fresh out of college, I found myself having trouble finding stagework, and needing an outlet to quell my insatiable desire to create. One of my closest friends at the time was an aspiring makeup artist, so I found myself around makeup a lot, and before I knew it, I'd fallen in love. Once we were stationed in Japan, I dove head-first into makeup artistry and began my freelance career doing photoshoots (family & boudoir), girl's nights out and special events. Now that I'm back in my hometown, I'm ready to hit the ground running and pursue artistry as my professional career. Part of that process is connecting myself to photographers and models in the area, and I've been told Model Mayhem is an essential asset toward that goal.
