Hi, my name is Andy. I’m an established landscape, outdoor action and lifestyle photographer, highly skilled with natural light and shadow, and looking to expand to artistic work of people-in-terrain. My inspirations usually start with special outdoor locations and specific types of light, and my vision is to create portraits that honor, celebrate, and enhance a deeper connection to this earth. I have some awesome locations and concepts in mind, so I’d like to connect with creative models.
I have shot commercial work for outdoor gear companies but I lost a lot of that work after a chain of personal and physical traumas. I’m recovered now and I’d welcome bringing my camera and Photoshop skills to commercial assignments again. I have shot some weddings too. What brings me to MM is a next-step vision for artistic creation.I know that nothing is more precious to generate good works than a synergistic relationship with a model, and I take pride in being a good listener as well as seer. I believe that the most compelling and difficult aspect of life to convey in art is sincerity--sincerity that communicates soul.
I absolutely work within the premise that shooting with models is like singing a duet. Models must receive a fair share of receipts from images. I wish I could say that I have galleries, magazines, sponsors, collectors and buyers lining up and allowing me to pay models for the work I envision, but in this genre I’m just getting started and the best I can offer to try on one of my concepts is to cover travel expenses as best I can, to share in any profits that do accrue, and to work hard and have fun generating meaningful, stunning work.
