HOW DID IT START

Son of Portuguese immigrants, Roberto Ruivo, born January of 1986, resides in Markham, Ontario, but it was in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where he created his own women's high heel shoe brand. In 2008, with a creative mind and artistic talent, Ruivo started sketching shoe designs from his desk at the University of Dubai and the Roberto Ruivo Company was born. With a great deal of travel, he acquired experience in the footwear industry, he claims that it was only after meeting his wife, Veracruz, that he truly learned how to design to make women SHINE.
