I am a Toronto-based fine art photographer & visual artist. The issues that engage me in my work are primal: beauty & abjectness of the human body, mortality & anguish, identity & memory. I am interested in the emotional truth in people’s lives: what their existence like underneath the surface? I am intrigued by the idea that when words disappear the body’s presence continues to be felt through spacing, punctuation, and light.
My work is about experimentation: I work in analogue, digital and camera-less technologies, various darkroom processing & printing techniques. I like the tactile qualities of prints, and dealing with fragments, that often take me to a new place.
I am here to meet people who would be mostly interested in participating in visual arts projects and collaborations. However, I am also open to helping creative folks with portraits for their portfolios and other projects that are creative, engaging and fun.
