About Me

Hey I'm Zinkuu

By trade I'm a professional photographic retoucher, I've just completed a photography course and have been assisting editorial photographers for the past year in London. I'm just starting to build my photographic portfolio (which is why I only have a few photos up!). I'm here to meet amazing like minded people, collaborate and work together to create some amazing projects.

I love shooting models and people from all walks of life and capturing their personalities. I love natural light photography. I love simplicity and I currently DO NOT shoot nudes, tacky lingerie or swimwear. I'm inspired by photographers Harley Weir, Jamie Hawkesworth, Richard Avedon and Helmut Newtons visual story telling. I'm also inspired by the emotions in renaissance art and Ravi Varma's colonial Indian paintings.

RETOUCHING BACKGROUND - I've been a retoucher for 5 years. My retouching work has been published in Harpers Bazaar India, models.com, Fashion Journal Magazine, Fucking Young and Wonderland Mag to name a few publications.
