About Me

Elizabeth Dyer is an artist; working primarily as a figurative and portraiter, her objective is to represent her subject within various contexts of contemporary society.

In 2004, Elizabeth graduated from the University of Guelph, in Ontario Canada with a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree, with a major in Fine Art and a minor in Art History.

In 2006, she continued to perfect her craft receiving her Post Graduate degree in Fine Art at the Chelsea College of Art and design.

In between her studies, Elizabeth gained commercial work experience through her extensive work with a private arts company, Applied Art Studios, painting large scale murals.

In October 2007, Elizabeth was the first international artist to complete an artist in residence program at the renowned garden, Great Dixter in East Sussex, England. Upon her return, she debuted her work in New York at Tria Gallery in Chelsea in a contemporary portrait show in summer 2008. In the spring of 2009, Elizabeth participated in a group show, The Northern Superlative of Wandering Portraitists, at Barbershop Gallery in Toronto and in the summer of 2009 exhibited again at the Barbershop Gallery, her collection Relationship of Interior spaces.

In 2010 Elizabeth partnered with her sister Emily Dyer to open the lifestyle store for families, Advice from a Caterpiller..

Elizabeth continues to do all the creative shoots and social media campaigns. She continues working on private commissions as well as commercial visual display.
