Phillip R. Hanny
For most of my life, I have been involved with art in one way or another. I began as a photographer (I sold my first image in 1957) and later studied art with Frank DelleDonne. In my mid twenties, I became director of the Brandywine Arts Festival, perennially a Top 100 Festival, a position I held for more than 30 years. I also served for a time as administrator of a drawing from life atelier where I had the great good fortune to work with Gus Sermas. Recently, I have become fascinated with using photography, art, and technology to produce digital images; a pursuit which occupies much of my free time.

I retired in 2012, having had the privilege to serve as Executive Director of Granville County Habitat for Humanity.
