I picked up my first film camera when I was 14 and fell in love with it right away. Like most people my age, digital came out and we were all in awe of it. So I made the switch. After shooting families, weddings, and kids for 5 years, I took a creative break. Fast forward to this past year, I acquired an old film camera that's been in the family since the 70's and rekindled my love and passion for photography, especially film. I do not shoot digital, only film. This allows me to take thing slowly, compose the shot the way I want it to, and connect with my model, which is the most important part. I want people who see my images to see the connection that we've had, to feel the emotion that we are trying to convey; that's the most important part.
