Growing up, I always knew I wanted to pursue a career that allowed me to reach a large population of people. This is merely so I can express the importance of feeling confident every single day. I feel that we live in a very degrading world that is filled with copious amounts of negativity. Our world is in need of people to uplift the population and spread the message of "being confident in your own skin." Just recently, I discovered modeling, and I fell in love with the whole concept of it. Modeling allows girls to show their confidence on camera and accentuate the importance of feeling sexy and beautiful. Growing up, I never felt that I was pretty and my confidence began to plummet. Being raised in an Italian/Portuguese household, I was always being pushed to work and find a field I wanted to work in. I didn't necessarily know what I wanted to do yet, so that furthered my anxiety for the future. However, a good friend of mine was a model, and she told me that she felt the same way when she was younger. When she found modeling, her confidence sky-rocketed, and she expressed to me the importance of self love, and that's where my knowledge of modeling came from. In high school, I always thought I wanted to be an actress, but now that I am here at the ripe age of 18, I realized that I could have both of my dreams come true at the same time. I have this dream of acting and modeling, and if those two were to co-exist in my world, that's all I could ever ask for. So, my name is Julianna Casimiro, and I am here to make my dreams a reality, and I am willing to put in the time and work I need to get to where I want to be. I believe that everyone should have a shot at their dreams, and i'm here to take that gun and shoot for the stars.
