My name is Chris Kacy.

I studied art in college and in addition to my design and drawing classes, took as many photo classes as I could. I took courses on artificial lighting, black and white photography, exposed photos in the darkroom, the whole deal.

I graduated in 2013 and have been working in the graphic arts industry ever since.

I have commercial photography experience, and have freelanced and worked in-house taking photos and retouching. Most of my work has been product photography and location shots for ads that appear in directories and publications.

I also have experience shooting reptiles. I’ve worked with businesses that sell reptiles commercially and photographed animals for them, mostly ball pythons.

Outside of work I’ve continued to shoot personally. My personal work, which is what I’ll use this profile for, is more artistically focused. Most of my work has been focused on documentary projects where I focus on an interest, event, or place, and travel photography.

My goal is too shoot more, and gain more experience shooting with talented professional people.
