About Me

For this German-American photographer, her first camera was inherited from her grandfather. A Folding Kodak Retina in a leather case. During her teenage years, the Regensburger native, had set-up a darkroom in her bathroom; a place where she would spend long hours and often not come out for days.

In the 90s she moved to Berlin for her university studies. It was no surprise she decided to go into a creative field – Visual Communication with a focus on Photography for her major. During her studies she also got the opportunity to work as a photo assistant in Paris. After graduating from university, the Berlin adopted photographer worked for large magazine publishers, advertising agencies and made of herself a freelancing Art Director. She has been working as a photographer since 2007. Her fascination for the 50s and 60s era is consistently reflected through her work.
