I'm here primarily as a painter that uses photography for reference. Although, I am enjoying the medium of photography as its own thing. My projects range from immersive environments in which the model is part of a scene, to purely figurative works where the model is everything. In the immersive environments, my focus is on creative lighting, wardrobe and accessories, and capturing an overall feeling for the scene. For my figurative works, I'm working usually with a backdrop. And this time my focus is on finding dynamic gesture in the entire figure. Simple lighting, simple wardrobe. The model can approach this as if it were a figure drawing class without the long poses, only I'm looking for something a little more personal.
