Hello!

My name is Hoku and I’m a photographer from Kaneohe, Hawaii. I’ve been shooting professionally for three years, but a camera has been in my hands most of my life. I specialize in portraiture. I love the creative process of capturing people in a way that expresses who they are, in a way that exudes confidence captured in frames that will be looked at and cherished. Instant classics. Lighting and mobile studio gear are always on hand to create scenes anywhere, indoor or out, and at any time of day. In addition to my primary digital photography, I offer film, which adds a unique element of grain and color to any project.
