I have always had photography as a huge part of my life. From creating memories with my family to helping others create their own memories. I started out in photography not really knowing where I wanted to go with it. There were so many things I wanted to try, so many things I wanted to experiment with. In 2016, I started pursuing photography in college as a minor along with my other studies. However, photography is no "minor" in my life as I am always looking and exploring new ways to create and compose better and more interesting images. I am always working with other fellow photographers and collaborating on different projects in and out of my comfort zone. This is why I call myself "Aperture Mind Photography". I go into every project I do with an open mind and expect endless possibilities. As a photographer, I take charge of my projects but I also allow my subjects/models to be themselves as well. I work hard to create the image I want out in the field rather than waiting to go home and edit an image into artificial art. I always want my images to look as authentic and natural as they do in front of my lens and to the naked eye. I decided to join Model Mayhem to expand my experience, try new things, and meet new people and fellow creatives who have a mutual vision. My name is Samantha and I would love to work with you!
