I was trained in painting and printmaking at Indiana University and The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I transitioned to digital media during the 90s. During the early 2000's I switched to photography. While I shoot almost any kind of subject I prefer people either in portraiture or in a narrative setting. With my painting background I have strong Photoshop retouching skills and approach image creation somewhat differently from photographers who don’t know how to draw. Some of my work is composited, some of it photocubist, some of it infrared, some of it traditional. I look forward to working with new models and exploring collaborations that will create new looks.
