I'm professional portrait and personal brand photographer based in Chorley, Lancashire. With a diploma in fashion and also over twenty years as a makeup artist, I started out at a hobbyist photographer nine years ago. I simply wanted to take beautiful photos of my client's makeup and hair styling. However, this soon developed into a love affair with the camera. I started creating and designing my own shoots with models and a number of my images have been published in Femme Rebelle Magazine.
Aims and achievements
I'm a qualified member of the BIPP and have done a fashion photography workshop with Lara Jade Photography. I work from a purpose built photography studio at my home, so I'm able to offer a variety of settings and backdrops. My aim is to focus on my client's needs and offer the very best service to produce perfect images that showcase their vision.
My influences include old Hollywood movie stars, quirky beauty, fairy tales, fine art, story-telling, colour and nature. For inspiration, I greatly admire the work of Steven Meisel, Tim Walker, Annie Leibovitz and Ken Jones.
I'm interested in building professional relationships with hair and makeup artists, stylists and models to produce beautiful images and creative projects. I often enter photography competitions and qualifications.
