Biography

Amir Farokhpour is a photographer based in Toronto, Canada. From early on, He demonstrated tremendous interest in music and art. At the age of 14 he seriously pursued photography. Amir graduated from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in 2015. By applying abstraction, Amir creates intense personal moments masterfully created by means of rules and omissions, acceptance and refusal, luring the viewer round and round in circles. His photos doesn’t reference recognizable form. The results are deconstructed to the extent that meaning is shifted and possible interpretation becomes multifaceted.
