I'm a bit south of Buffalo, NY with a studio in Buffalo and I travel often to Pittsburgh and the Southern Tier. Photography is how I usually express my creative urges.

I'm drawn to a gritty aesthetic, and enjoy creating ambiguity through lens distortion, tricks of light, composition or even the subject matter. In addition to photography, I enjoy making interactive fire sculptures. I like to light things on fire and take pictures of them. I built a 6' tall rectangle of fire big enough to stand inside and use the fire to light my pictures.

So that's what I like to do, but I also will shoot anything interesting to me, since I enjoy the challenge of shooting in different conditions and lighting.

My favorite part of planning a shoot is the back-and-forth with other participants. The collaborative effort excites me, and I'm always open to new ideas.
