Born in Los Angeles, raised in Thousand Oaks, CA I’m not your average woman behind the lens. As a punk rock kilt wearing, tattooed, horse riding, artist, gamer with a love for fandoms and Cosplay I love the colorful cosplays and art that people can create, it only inspires me to capture and create my own, whether its through photography or other mediums. It’s something that inspires me and catches my eye and heart.Aside from when I am at the ranch with my own horse child. I’ve dabbled in competitive boxing, art, herpetology but I have found a deep love of taking wonderful photos of the creatures I love.
I first picked up a camera few odd years ago, when my close friend let me borrow his little old canon. At first I didn’t think much of taking photos, it was really just a hobby, It wasn’t really until i started paying attention to what I was shooting and how I could shoot it. That’s when I started diving deeper and finding a knack for it and enjoying it. That’s when I started brainstorming ideas. After delving into new and fun tricks I picked up my own Rebel XSI and really started getting a feel for it. I only find my drive for learning gets deeper.
With help along the way I started producing better shots. I love capturing that special moment in time, frozen forever. The XSI turned into a Canon 7d Mark ii after many years of use and love. Now together my Mark ii and I aim to capture many more moments for friends, family, and strangers. Its more rewarding to get that perfect shot when you’re self-taught. It gives me an extra boost of confidence and courage everyday to learn and explore more in photography.
