My name is Rachel Scane and I am a Makeup and Prosthetics Artist. I graduated from ACMUSE with a Diploma of Specialist Makeup Services and have been working in the film industry and with a couple of photographers since I graduated.
I have been doing photo shoots with the same photographer and models in between Film/TV jobs and am loving it but would like to expand my network and work with new people. I really enjoy the collaboration between artists and that creative back and forth when working together.
I’ve done a range of Film and TV work but am still fairly new in the industry so most of my work is as an assistant. I really enjoy this work and I learn a lot on each job but I miss the creative aspect. I’m also just starting to build a freelance business and want to build my professional network as well as my portfolio.I particularly enjoy working on avant-garde looks and am a fully qualified prosthetics artist so I love working on anything FX.
