Have you ever been in the stage where you thought that the only option you had is to say "yes" to anything that's been offered? Whether it be not what you want, not what you need or not what you deeply desire for?
This stage is miserable, until any loved one notices and says "if you don't want, don't do it". And this was my father who did. I had this tremendous doubt 'just on the basis of my WANT, can I actually choose?'
One of the article said, if you're going through tough times, advice yourself as you would advice your close friends. I would have always encouraged my friends to do what they love. Also, my mother, when she had rare support from relatives, i would be there.
I knew I was depressed when my body started to ache, and this was only because I thought, "maybe I should stop thinking about modeling to be my career". I have tremendous love for this career, I've had few shoots as well, which made my love stronger. Due to fear of having enough money, fear of having time, energy, I stopped for a while. But now, I support myself.
