When I first did my first shoot for Ginza Magazine, I wanted to shoot more, but wasn't sure how.
Now hopefully with this account I shall connect with people within the modeling community.
I have had experiences from doing many shoots for a long time and that too, I hope will be of use.
Having done photoshoots, I realized that its not about how I feel i.e. it doest matter if I don't feel confident enough or good enough, and that shouldn't affect the pictures because the pictures must be great no matter what.
Before my shoot with Ginza Magazine, I used to think I wasn't good enough, now that it doesn't matter, like I said the pictures need to be great no matter what.
Having done test shoots, I realized my inner being decided how my outer being be display.
Make up and hair needed to be perfect and I learnt what was best for me.
What angels are best and which sides are to be avoided.
Most importantly, with whom is best to work with.
Test shoots are fun, and useful to build portfolios.
And its best that both the photographer and the models get what they need from each other.
When a photographer tells the model what to do 24/7 and the model has no chance to do her way, that is no fun.
Same applies to when the model is bosses the photographer about how she wants the pictures. Harmony is always beautiful.
And after having done many careful test shoots, professional shoots are to be deserved.
Test shoots always don't have to be glamorous.
Simple and natural pictures are often the best that show the skills and structures of both the models and photographers and usually that meets the viewers eyes.
