Was born in the former Soviet Union.
Studied art and design at the Ostrovsky State University of Fine Art in Tashkent, graduating in 1989 as an artist and interior designer.
Landed in Toronto 20 years ago.
Founded the Palette Art School in 2008
I have deep artistic roots, having grown up in a family of artists. Influenced by my mother and grandfather, chose to partake in the same walk of life.
"The manner in which I paint is very different. Whether I paint a still life or a representational composition, it always has its own world that seems distorted yet quaint. I try to make my works speak for themselves. Every piece has a little story. You wanna to hear it? Just listen closely."
