I'm a practicing photographer looking to develop my craft with the help of other creative and enthusiastic people. I've worked mostly as an amateur hobbyist, but would like to build my portfolio moving towards more professional work. I'm an artist in many mediums - including film and video, music and creative writing.

My interest in photography first started while studying film and video production at university, which is where I learned about lighting and exposure and other areas that overlap between motion picture and still photography. I am hoping to venture more into the world of stills production, and develop a deeper understanding of strobe lighting, post processing, and studio work. While I'm very comfortable on a film set, stills photo shoots are fairly new to me.

I shoot primarily with medium format film for reasons of aesthetics and personal interest. This always makes for an unique workflow, requiring a bit of patience and a tolerance for surprises.

I view the work that I do as highly collaborative, and for that reason I'm looking to partner with models who enjoy taking an active stake in the creative process. My workflow includes creative consultations, mood boards, and an extensive discussion about the mutual goals of a project for everyone involved. I believe that my best photos come about when everyone taking part in the process is able to exercise creative agency.

I strive to be an easy going, professional person to work with, and I'm looking for the same thing in any creative partner or model.
