I grew up in a small town in the midst of Illinois. There, I would steal my mother’s DSLR camera to take photos of my little sister. Those casual photoshoots striked interest with my friends and family. Eventually, I got better at my craft and I found myself taking senior photos to afford school lunches and gas.

After high school came to an end, I packed my bags and headed to the West coast. Once I arrived in Portland, Oregon, I began working with models and explored all of the opportunities photography holds. I soon realized I had a burning passion towards commercial photography.

The reason being was I was never good at expressing myself. Everyone around me seemed to use words to communicate their inner workings, feelings, and needs. I felt trapped behind a jumble of words that never spoke my truth.

Until I picked up a camera.

For me, photography isn’t just an art form but a way to communicate, to express, and to share impactful stories.

Now I use my camera to help brands speak their truth.
