I have been studying photography for about 17 years initially taking photos with a point and shoot and advancing through the canon rebel line to now using their professional DSLR’s. I have been primarily self-taught with occasionally private lessons from well-known wedding photographers. I shoot mainly shoot natural light portraits of my family and friends and also landscapes or anything with good light that catches my eye.

I would not consider myself a pro (as photography is not my principle source of income) My day job is as a high school physics teacher. I would like to break into portrait photography part-time and joining Model Mayhem would be a fantastic opportunity to build my portfolio along with others and make connections with others in the industry.
