Background: I photograph properties as a part of my job, and I enjoy fashion and design, all of which sparked a broader interest in photography. I take occasional classes at Pratt in Manhattan to improve my understanding of how to retouch images and photograph people, which I find more dynamic and exciting than four walls, a ceiling, and a floor.

Goals: In addition to hands-on learning via practical experience, I would like a strong portfolio to eventually do freelance work involving models and fashion.

Style: Everything changes over time, but, I like images that play on elements of light (favoring contrast) and use clothing as a way to add meaning and character to the subject. I see portraiture as a form of storytelling, where the subject is an actor, albeit for only one second in time.

Equipment: I shoot with a Nikon D850, have an assortment of interesting lights, and edit in Adobe Photoshop.
