My name is Leonor Alvarez, I´m a 36 years old boudoir photographer and I love coffee, glitter and a good novel. I love Christmas (although I love dressing up for Halloween) and I think rainy days have a special coziness to them that makes them warmer.
I have a loving husband, a very lazy dog and a beautiful 7 year old daughter which is why I started getting involved in photography. She started growing too much and too fast and I figured the best way to stop the time and keep so many memories was through my lens. I started photographing babies and kids, but I later realized that my favorite kind of shoots were the ones that involved pregnancies and moms with their babies, thus making me realize that capturing the beauty and strength of women was my real passion. I feel that with all the media images of these “perfect” bodies we receive daily we forget to admire ourselves for what we really are: strong, capable, beautiful woman on the inside and on the outside. We are able to balance work and family, love intensely, have fun with our friends and try to keep a decent exercise routine, all of that while wearing heels (or yoga pants, particularly on Mondays) I believe there’s no better way to capture our beauty and strength than an image, whether it is for sharing it with your special someone, or just to remind yourself how awesome you are every time you see it framed in your closet. Hey, I'm interested to come to America in future but at the moment while traveling is still difficult, I am offering remote shoots afternoons on Wednesdays or Mondays Melbourne time until March 8th. I'm currently working with another photographer to do these shoots but I hope in future to get my own gear and do more on location remote shoots. I have a CBD apartment with a rooftop balcony, large natural light windows, a range of backdrops, props & can use the buildings facilities of a gym, spa, pool & sauna. My rates for remote shoots would be less than what I charge for in person shoots. Let me know how many hours you would like me to quote you for and if you like to pay by PayPal or a bank transfer to my UK bank or AUS bank. We would tether the camera to the laptop and screen share so you can control the settings/shots & we could chat over FaceTime or WhatsApp during the shoot.
