My name is Kayla Maxey. I'm originally from Bakersfield, CA. I am also a licensed esthetician. I don't just model, I do makeup and sing as well. My goal is to use my assets wisely and make a success of them. I don't think God would have given me talents if I wasn't supposed to use them. When doing makeup, I have a motto: "Don't just look beautiful, feel beautiful." After doing makeovers, my goal is to have the client leave feeling glamorous, and walking out with a pep in her step. Modeling came after my goal of a makeup artist. It had been something I thought about while in CA, but never really had the support to go after. Now, I do it because it's a learning experience, I meet great people/photographers, and I don't think I've ever seen my mother so proud of me. She even saves all of my photos and shows them off to friends/co workers. Singing came naturally to me. I started singing as soon as I could make noise. My style is soul and r&b, however, some say they can see me singing country music. All I know, is that my music comes from the soul. I mostly sing when I'm in an emotional distress. Singing is a type of therapy for me.
