As a film-maker/videographer myself for 10 years, I've often given a pass to photography as I find it mundane and uninteresting. Until one day a friend of mine approached me regarding Boudoir. It was my first time hearing of such photography style and thought it will interesting. So the photo shoot happened, and the results were widely praised by people around.
