I have been dabbling in photography for over thirty years, cutting my teeth on 35mm film on manual SLR cameras way back in 1984 and got my first DSLR in 2001.  Since then I have upscaled through Canon's range of bodies and lenses, learning how to use my camera in studio and natural lighting conditions.

I have teamed up with a full time professional photographer to share studio facilities and to hone my skills further.  I have a lifetime of learning ahead of me, but that is the beauty of photography, isn't it?

I have recently become rather adept at the use of Photoshop to improve the punch of some of my portraits, and I am always learning new things about light, how the camera sees it, and with digital, playing with the white balance and using RAW images to ensure that when I produce a final image it has some smack!

I have lots to learn and I hope that I will be admitted into the fold of Model Mayhem so that I can become better equipped with the range of models available on this forum.

My interests vary, and whilst I have tinkered around with some personal fetish tastes, I am now moving towards mainstream portraiture work.  I have spotted a few models on here that I have had the privilege to photograph by chance because they have also listed themselves on other modelling forums, but there are many exclusively MM models that I hope to be able to approach with new ideas for stunning images, and also to develop my control of colour and shade.
