Hello, my name is Ras Sager. I began my career / hobby in photography in the late 70's. I was Photo Editor and Lead Photographer for my High School Year Book and Newspaper. At the same time, I was an AP/UPI stringer and won a Kodak Snapshot Award for Nature shooting. I spent 20 years in the Navy (1979 - 1999) as a Photographer, it was then, that I branched out from exclusively Nature photography to Modeling photography. For the last 35+ years, I have been taking pictures in both areas. It's been the greatest hobby for creativity and meeting others. Over those years, I was instrumental in getting at least two models some of the pictures needed to land magazine gigs. I feel I have a well equipped studio and outside sets that can meet most ideas thought of. Now that I'm retired from my second job this year (2018), I really wanted spend more time doing something I have always enjoyed. I joined MM in the hopes of furthering the careers of those models that want to go that direction and or if you are anything like me, photography is such a great way to be creative time for both the model and the photographer; creating something unique while having fun from pose to the final photo. I like color photography but also like to shoot pics that will look great in black & white formats. I need to note that my EX decided I no longer needed or should have photos of other women after we were married (without telling me) and threw all my negatives and disks out. All I had left were my Portfolio presentations I used to promote my work. That's the reason for the B & W compilations and one reason she's now an EX. I have done a number of recent shoots but per the Model Release, I'm not allowed to show these photos without altering the photos (blurring the face and removing tats or other identifying marks on the model). Given the time it takes to meet their expectations, I did not include those in my submission. I also have a new website, but it's dedicated to my Nature Photography at this time.
