Photography isn't my day job, as much as I'd like it to be - most of my time is taken up completing my doctoral studies at Queen's University Belfast - but it is consistently what my mind wanders to when it has the opportunity.

I've always wanted to generate art, but, unfortunately, it turned out I was incompetent at painting, music, dance; essentially any discipline you would traditionally associate with creative output... so I turned to photography and, any decade now, I feel I might actually get quite good at it!

I'm currently stewarding the QUB Photographic Society and I'm hoping to connect with models in the Belfast area who may be willing to come to our studio teaching sessions to work with photographers ranging in skill from absolute beginner to very experienced.

I also do a small amount of semi-professional work covering events, corporate headshots, and other myriad little jobs, but I haven't had as much time to dedicate to personal portraiture projects as I would like - ideally I'd use Model Mayhem to help with this as well, on a TFP or paid basis.
