Daniel grew up in the jungles of Africa and the mountains of Nepal before launching his film company, Skyship Films, in 2011. With a penchant for adventure and environmental action, he's tracked cartels along the rivers of Honduras, chased the elusive snow leopard through the mountains of Afghanistan, and rafted through icebergs on glacial lakes in the shadow of Everest. His documentary films have been featured at numerous international festival venues including the Environmental Film Festival (DCEFF), Banff Mountain Film Festival and International Wildlife Film Festival. His photographs have been published in many outlets including Anthropology Now, Venü magazine, and National Geographic.

He also directs fantasy, sci fi, and horror with Dark Tower Films, and his recent zombie short "Bloodyback" premiered at Screamfest LA and won best picture at Zedfest. He enjoys photographing dance, genre costume, fashion and fine art, and is currently attending a Writing/Directing MFA program at Columbia University in New York.
