Peter Klopper started shooting 35mm film with a Pentax in the late 90's with an interest in black and white photography. It was also about this time where he developed his love of spicy tacos! forgive me, I digress...

Today, the camera gear has changed a bit (thankfully to DSlR's), but his passion for capturing that special moment remains ever present, which turned a blissful hobby into a focused pursuit for wedding photography.


He is also the husband of an amazing woman, the father of 4 wonderful children, an Industrial Firefighter by day and generally philosophical by nature.
Peter enjoys capturing those candid moments throughout the day, having a good laugh every now and then, and talking about himself in the "rule of thirds".


That's the condensed version, but here is my WHY.

I'm a bit of a "ROMANTIC". Hearing or seeing someone else's story has always taken me back to when I proposed to my now wife on that snowy Chesterman Beach. We felt so alive. That was living in it's truest form, a moment so real that it changed our lives forever. We felt so connected. we were a family and a legacy at the incipient stage. Something so unique and valuable —something sacred.


It's with the same eyes that I see my future clients’ unique story unfolding and if I can help someone else tell, and remember, their story that's when I feel alive.

That is where my passion lies and that's why I love being a wedding photographer.
